Amazing zone settings

For developmental things relating to the graphics of the game.

Defaulting the semi-solid zones to fewer, transparent rectangles is extremely helpful to me. Using 0.2.8 I have to CON: zone_alpha_toggle 1 every time I play. It's a bummer, and I really admire hoop's work.

You can just put 'ZONE_ALPHA_TOGGLE 1' in autoexec.cfg...

Applied the patch to 0.2.8, it looks benign enough.

I had to switch back to windows, so I was missing those settings a bit, thanks for adding it!
is this commit already available in the beta's build?

Is it possible for a server to suggest to the client which of the amazing zone settings it might want to use for that particular server if the client supports it?

Have you guessed what's coming next....on a per zone basis? ok, forget that one, maybe zones v2 one day.

That would rock. I thought about that when I suggested the amazing zone setting be included in the aamap.

How do I get these settings to save for each time I login to armagetron? Putting them in everytime.cfg and autoexec.cfg aint workin

It should. Do other changes to those files have an effect? If not, you're editing the wrong files :)
