Armasmegmod v0.1
Thanks all!
Here's something for low spec machines. It's a low poly cycle model around 500 poly/ original cycle model around 2500poly. Rename cycle.ase in the moviepack directory to cycle_high.ase; Unzip attached file to same directory and rename to cycle.ase... enjoy!

I felt like it needed to be posted again, just to prove that low count cycle exist without being Reggie the Regular Rectangle or Timmy the Trisomic Triangle.Assuming a bike is normally 1 meter long, I've made a 5 polygon model: the front is at (0,0,0) and the cycle face -x (so the back is at about (1,0,0), so it may need correction:
all the points: in (x,y,z)
(0, 0.12,0)
(0, -0.12,0)
(1, 0.3, 0)
(1, -0.3, 0) (those 4 give the ground shape)
(0.2, 0, 0.3) top front vertex
(1.2, 0, 0.5) top back vertex
can someone try to model it.
the proportions are all wrong probably, but it seems like an ok shape on paper, but I was just unable to describe it in words.
probably the "ground" polygone can be skipped as it is never displayed, making it a 4 polygones model. (if I count them ok, 6 triangles are needed for it if the ground is ommited. 1 in front, one in back, and 2 for each sides.)

Wow!
Ok, i do not see any changes in the fps, but now the cycle look like something rather than just a blubish collection of pixels!

Still looking how to put a picture in a message! I mean not as an attachment, but directly in the message.

- Wow, look at the details. Doesn't it just make you want to play with that moviepack, the pixelly moviepack?

yeah i tried it but fps seems to be the same
spoke to ser about possibly using 1 pixel skins for all graphics
looks like im gonna have to hack the source
remove the bike all together and extrend the wall 1 meter forward to replace the empty space
hope this fixes my fps problems
if not then its gonna have to be a 2d over head engine (like nokia snake)
