Need openGL driver help

Post by anthias »

Hi guys, I have a DELL Optiplex gx100 - which has onboard intel 810 video.

I know it does opengl - it worked in windows for 3d and I have assurances that it does support opengl. However, the dell site is useless for the linux drivers (anything there is redhat specific - what do they think we are?)

The opengl/mesa libraries all appear to be installed. (in Mandrake 10.1)

Yet Arma behaves as though no gl support exists. I have also obtained latest drivers. I recall with my other pc that I did some editing of files in relation to this stuff to get gl working with my NVidia PCI card. I was hoping somebody had some ideas what to do... Because I want it to run tron on it!

you'll have to edit your xf86config file in linux and put in the correct driver, probably something like i810 or 810 or something...
