You're only allowed 15 characters i think. It's probably harder to do this, but i think it would be worth it for some players. If you had a name, say "THELONGERNAME" (13 char) then could you make it so the 0xooffoo (green) isn't counted as 8 characters, but as one or zero?
Tell me if this doesn't make sense.

ex:
rain
r = red (default color of the wall/bike )
0xooffoo ain = green
so you see "rain" and it's max character count is four, not 12.

Here's an idea. Exclude the use of colours in names. It's bad enough in chat.

That can be done on any server since 0.2.8. The server admin just has to want it.

Saw this one, and didn't know if you were open to a smatter idea than changing it to 30 char. I agree 30 char is way too much, 20 is too. But, i was saying if you kept it at a 15 char limit, then you could say that 0xffoooo = 1/0 characters. ex: F0xffoooored = (Fred, 12 char) that's what it's at now. If you changed it to this: F0xffoooored = (Fred, 4-5 chars) then that's what I was saying. I don't really care, just thinking for those who can't come up with more productive ways than spam-names to get longer or fancier names.
