idk how you played before but you are quite good now...
and dont listen when they say dont go in and try to kill someone...that method is quite efficient on sumo, i've tried it too :D
if some people start complaining about being killed stupidly that just does show you that you do it the right way :P

Yes, absolutely go for the kill. The only exceptions are in team games where you may be better off, for particular opponents, just trying to slow them down and stay alive. Otherwise, go for the kill.

Assert yourself.

Wipe them out. ;)

Glad to be part in your improvement.
Best is to improve develop your own style, there is no "perfect style" because every individual is skilled at other things.
E.G. Xyron makes crazy mazes, liza plays very agressively and I'm the greatest camp ever.

I always try to "get the bigger half of the zone" during sumo matches, glancing more than looking forward and using easy traps to make the core dumps. I find mazing rather useless because you make it hard for yourself too, but its up to you how you play. There are some basic things, such as glancing a lot to know where your enemies are (minimap works fine too), and using speed to be ahead of your enemies. I learned by watching players such as newbie, eggscozy and hoop, as I was attracted by the simplicity of the old-skool style. All i can say is this: find the style that suits you best and go practice it and hopefully you will be able to beat me in a few months. GL!

Personally, I have never really liked torpedoes, except against teams that are clueless on how to break them! But, after 2-3 torpedoes, people learn real quick how to defeat a torpedo. In Wild West we have had a few matches where teams have tried to win a close match with torpedo. It fails. One good member of the offensive unit yells torpedo in TeamSpeak, and we all react accordingly.
