The mind set of an open player isn't to conquer the opponent, it's to conquer the particular maze at hand.

Players who seal:
- are aggressive
- are dominant
- are conservative
- are cruel
- are the kind of people get get in fist fights over stupid shit
- have primitive brains
- cannot see a competition beyond the scope of win/lose
- have too much pride

Open players:
- are playful
- take risks
- can die and still have fun
- pride control of the bike
- explore style
- enjoy personal challenges
- have sex with beautiful women

Open players would rather attempt a maze and die than sit in a box triple binding back and forth and eventually winning. Winning, especially at a game as silly as Tron, is extremely overrated, and I don't see how anyone could get satisfaction from doing the same speed/seal over and over again, match after match.

No, but while on the topic of your look, where is "young lucifer hugging a guitar"?

Now it has been replaced by "has been savagely attacked by a piece of fur that then proceeded to elected residence on his chin-lucifer"?

That whole New-Lucifer is a failed marketing ploy. Bring back Classic-Lucifer!

Young Lucifer is still nursing his knee wound from last spring. Old Lucifer has stepped in in the meantime.

And hey, I like that peach fuzz that finally sprouted on my chin! I especially like the white hairs in it, that's cool. If it was still all dark, I'd still be shaving it.

I\ve started to have some grey shades in my own beard, but nothing like you.

That and I cant really have anything that is longer than 2 weeks growth. Longer than that and i only itches all the time. Managed to get 4 month growth, and it was still itching.

That and it gives me that Taliban look everybody just loves. I've had people change side of the street! Well, at the time I decided to go agains the jacket and coat industries with their " you need a coat to be outside " propaganda, and used 2 thick wool sweaters, with somehow made me look like a homeless bum, but that is another story. :)

Heh. I spent nearly a year ramping up to being able to wear a beard. You really have to acclimate yourself to it, so I started by not shaving more often than once every couple of days, then once a week, then once in two weeks, etc. I've actually grown it out a bit and then shaved it off once already, dealing with the problem where it tickles me while falling asleep and keeps me awake. I've mostly gotten over that for its current length, so I guess we'll see how it goes. I'd like to have it hanging down to my nipples, that would really rock.

Luckily, I've had nothing but positive responses, except from you and Fonkay. :) I think that in general I look friendlier, which is good since my face is sort of stuck in a permanent scowl. Now, this particular picture was posed, I wasn't trying to look nice in it...

Edit: In other news, my unibrow seems to be disappearing. I suspect foul play, my wife and I have gone back and forth over whether or not a unibrow is cool....

how do you seal a beard? (possibly in an aggressive way)

EDIT: or better, how do you bear a seal? (still in an aggressive way)

The threat of a sealing a box can lead to very satisfying fights without actually sealing off. Besides, and I repeat a statement said a thousand times before, the primary goal in tron is to have other players crash into a wall. If you enjoy this or chatting with others or just the growing finger-eye coordination , well, good for you. :)

Fact: I seal!

If you don't like it, let me know so I can silence your whiny ass. :p
