The Most Amazing Center Ever

Post by þsy »

This is sort of a strategy, more like a one-time fluke. Get ready for this..

I was playing center versus animal on G5s. I think position 5 slid and drove straight into where his position 3 had split, so there was a hole.

I decided to through it, so I split pretty much straight at the center (which was a normal split other than the hole). I managed to go through, but when I glanced to the right, I realized I was going down the center itself...

SO basically, I managed to center the enemy without grinding, but by getting the exact right position down the middle. I didn't think this was possible, but it did happen! Maybe it's a bug, but it is theoretically possible, just insanely unlucky.

You realise what a loser you are when you start to get excited by dumb things like this...

so you just happened to have the right position and didn't turn, yes?

the probability to be able to do that rises when you've got prediction turned on :P

(i have practiced this many times - but never as center, i just tried to become better at aiming and wanted to go through 2 walls without using rubber...it didn't work often ^^ )

Sometimes when I get bored of center, I center my own team, as well as leaving it open. This blocks their center from reaching our zone.

I experienced it that way: Right side split first, the left one later. I did a reverse triplebind to block the left side first (RLLL). I ended up centering myself. (KK paint drawing) So basically, the 'random' grind was probably something about 4.
