Hey now, no need for names. I'm just trying to remind everyone there is no need to fire up in this thread.

Your screen-shots look nice. Good job with the textures. I'm sure your settings are a lot of fun. I've personally never found a use for the break away boost settings, but have always thought about trying.

ya...just adding something new to the hr scene. i have the cycle_boost_rim turnd up. so only the rim boosts. its not up that high, just high enough so that the techniques that you see here give you a boost from the wall just enough to where you can actualy fight back and not feel like your stuck and have to turn around or tell them to let you off.

thanks.

Doesn't one of the FA HR servers have a rim boost? Although I think it's there as an anti-camping measure. I know that Nexus9 (no rubber) has a rim boost that has saved my arse a few times. Not sure about the intention behind the N9 boost though.

re: nexus 9
I've always seen it intended as a way to get people off the wall. It draws them on it for cheap and easy acceleration, but they get off quickly. It also makes it much harder for someone to ring the whole grid, keeping his opponent in the thin column on the outside between his wall and the rim. I have mixed feelings about it but don't think it's anything that needs to be changed.
