breaking the mold

Post by Goodygumdrops »

sure, we all know standard fort strategy*

gaining speed at the start, blocking and setting up a solid defense, sweeping the opposing attackers away from your defender and each other, killing enemy sweepers and holing in good spots with a player advantage

but there's a brand-spanking-new ladle strategy that i'm gonna let you all in on

what you will need:
1) 6 players with an expert grasp of fortress strategy who aren't known for having particularly good reflexes/timing/execution (they're out there)

2) 1 wizard who has memorized 6 polymorph other spells and 5 teleport spells (kind of tough to find)

what to do:
sign up your team

nobody will expect a group of knowledgeable but technically nonproficient players to do well

on the day of the ladle, your wizard (here it gets good) polymorphs each of your 6 players into a player with superb reflexes/timing/execution and you take everyone by surprise and crush the ladle

*probably false

This is a great idea! Maybe some people that play MMORPGs can help out in finding an appropriate wizzard?

nah, I got it too. Good source of inspiration, that. I just had to throw out an off-topic thing, just to try to be silly. Even if it was a fail.
