So I just bought a Cloud VPS from rackspace. So far support has been good but neither me or the company can find whats going on.
I enabled TRUST_LAN 1 in the settings
I did Talk to master 1 in the settings
Enabled all outbound and inbound connections
Unblocked all ports
Specefied Server port 4534 in the settings
Unblocked armagetron dedicated and all connections going into and out of it
Went through and tried turning all the firewalls off
Tried both .4 and .2.8.2.2 (current version forgot if it had a 3 or 2 at the end)
Then after trying all those things I keep opening armagetron dedicated and it says it connects to master server and anything but doesn't show up on the master list. Nor does custom connect work, it says server does not answer.
Any Ideas on why it might not be working?

Re: Rack Space Hosting, Cloud VPS Help
'Clound' servers can be weird. The Amazon Clound servers for example are behind a NAT firewall.
To see whether any of that is the case, please give us:
-server IP
-server name
-company URL (wait, no, found that, they don't seem to give any valuable info)

Double post because I just realised this was here; You never want that on a remote hosted server, it's for home servers only. It says "I trust nobody on the server's LAN is going to attempt any man in the middle authentication attacks", which may be true for your home LAN, but not so much for a datacenter.Fazeuout wrote:I enabled TRUST_LAN 1 in the settings
