Chat Log Help?

On a windows server (The Fight Arena) there's been some trouble making chat logs work. Nothing that we've done has been able to get chat logs. Could someone be helpful and explain how to get chat logs working? (if it helps, the server version is 2.8alpha20071216 win dedicated) Thanks in advance -> Infamous

afaik chatlog on a computer is for the client in local game, not server

To capture chat log on a server I believe you have to capture the console output directly. It's not logged to a file.

Well, from reading that weblog post, It seemed to me that you would need this line:

Code: Select all

C:\path\to\armagetronad.exe /options >>C:\path\to\log

You should put this in a batch script then use that script to run it, IMO

Unfortunately I can't remember how I did it when I ran my servers on windows.
