Not with that attitude!

I must admit though, even I only play maybe twice a week for half an hour. It's become boring.
Every time I enter a server, I see the same 5 people having the same conversation over and over again.

There's not really anything to fix. It's similar to an FPS game, where you have pretty much the same game with a few game modes. The thing I think we lack, which has been brought up countless times, is a z-axis. I don't think we need ramps and gravity, but the ability to run under each other (bridges, hills, etc ..) would be awesome. Of course, this would be nice when paired with the ability to put 3D models on the map, but I think the conclusion has always been that it would require an almost full rewrite. Outside of that, I don't see very much to "fix". Usually by this time, the game would be replaced with a new one (our full rewrite :P), but I don't think we have the dev power here to expect something like that.

Everything you've said is the kind'a "fix it" I was hoping for in the future of this game when I first started playing.

I had a way of having more "floors" at one point.
You make your map have two of the same sizes grids, and where there would be a ramp, there's an alcove with a teleport zone to the other grid. This is obviously not great, but it can give the illusion of it.

Imagine if it had stuff like halfpipes:Image

I've done that as well, but it's not quite what I would hope for. I think of things like castles in a map, having a bridge and people being able to ride under where you just rode. I wouldn't want to separate completely from the lower level. Although, this could be a much simpler solution. Rather than allowing stair-like things to work, have "elevators", which could take you up or down a "level". The levels could be set in the settings for distance, and it would basically be a grid hovering above a grid.

I just doubt we'll see such a big change happen in the near future.

Do you remember how "bombs" were in "Happy Fun Time"?
I think I could try and make that, but instead of a bomb it would be a teleport zone but the tp-zone would only be as wide as whatever explosion_radius is .
