That's not what he said.blondie wrote:You expect people to stop appealing when you're ignoring them?
Re: unfair pickup ban
and I didn't say he said that. The way he has acted has made me question if this is what he thinks. So I asked a question. Is that alright with you, Mr. Sinewav?
Re: unfair pickup ban
Im inclined to agree with sine. Hes not an idiot, also he doesnt suck.

Re: unfair pickup ban
Can't disagree with that, thanks for your response.epsy wrote:I understand your concern, but we have to distinguish mistakes and bad intentions. We do issue bans for early quits and no shows if reported(either with @admins or using the feedback form on the website), but I disagree on these being worse than toxic behavior(which is far more than just some banter/sarcasm here and there during a game). Obviously keeping it up when appealing doesn't help your case, hence the long ban for what is mostly first-offense.

blondie wrote:You take moderating powers into your own hands for pickup rather than make a democratic instrument. If you'd prefer hierarchal authority to democratic methods, that's one thing, but to responsibly exercise this hierarchical power, you need to provide valid reasons and transparent explanations for your actions. You cannot simply ban whoever you like because you feel like it.
Just imagine if concord was Pickup mod everybody Could you imagine the bans and reasoning he would impress upon us? /me*runs away screaming*
+1 to epsy's decision. Everyone has a limit to how much concord they can take.
Re: unfair pickup ban
Actually, Mr. Snxpflash, I have a strong track record of practicing democracy and self-organization, consistently advocating for transparency and fair voting practices. Earlier in this thread, I stated that epsy could easily implement a democratic moderating system but instead chooses to put the power in the hands of a few authority figures including himself. Like epsy and Mr. sinewav, you apparently have no regard for the reality of the situation and instead choose to judge me on your own arbitrary opinions and personal grudges.
Re: unfair pickup ban
What the F#%k are you still arguing about? the ban should be lifted by now.
A tragedy is commonplace but in the end they go away.

lold, democracy! so that's what ks was, gotcha.
Re: unfair pickup ban
There were no clan leaders or special authorities in that team, no. It was run democratically. You should know, you were briefly a member.
Re: unfair pickup ban
Ah yes, beautiful democracy. Too bad pickup isn't like that.blondie wrote:[21:36] <blondiey> quantic & i need to strip away everyone we don't want
Re: unfair pickup ban
Actually, Mr. Sinewav, as this thread clearly demonstrates, Epsy's pickup is exactly like that ks fanfiction of yours which so entertained everyone.
