Client

Post by tommy »

Sup guys, I don't like the Client that I have now, I'm pretty sure it lagging the hell out of me.. I've changed the Network Settings. I know its not my internet. I have a macbook pro, 2010 model. On my old 2006 black macbook, I lagged less. I'm pretty sure its the client issue. I even went as far to change my CPU usage on the client..

Anyhow, my question is where can I download the old client?

wasn't there a problem with the more recent macs lagging or something? Check out the support subforum as well if changing your client doesn't work.

Yep, it was here:

In addition to the mac experimental builds with the new code linked in that thread, here's the latest mac build from the 0.2.8 branch:

An attempt was made and it seems it fixed the issue, but not in our official stable releases; the only solution was new code and it requites testing in the wild.

Yep, that. Or the last build from dlh's archive, depends on whether you prefer good old stable 0.2.8 (that's mine) or new and shiny 0.3.x (dlh's).

He's just building them, both are equally mine and his code-wise :)

I personally like the 0.3 version it could use some work but the theory was good a new way of playing the game
