tank, your story reminds me of the other night...

"interesting activity this past morning at around 4am:

a three-member band of raccoons wandered into the
trees behind the house and proceeded to frisk, frolic,
chatter and fight for over an hour. they were twice
the size of cats and the temperature was below
freezing, yet they climbed up to 100 feet onto
perilous thin branches with impunity and unconcern.
afterwards they moved on, and i haven't seen them
since, nor have i ever seen raccoons behind the house
in the five years i've lived here in the city."

i didn't say last night, i said the other night. and i editted the post so it shows quotes around the story part, just as i wrote it up at the time to tell someone else.

well, it was my mommy i told!
