Honestly it wouldn't be that hard to duplicate the brush. But yeah, i would vectorize it if you were to make it into a shirt.sinewav wrote:And what's to stop me from redrawing it without the brush? Because, I can do that if we want to use that design. Your desktop image is raster art anyway, right? It should probably be redrawn as a vector for printing.Lacrymosa wrote:The brushes used for the swirls and lines are also free for personla use but a license is needed if we want to have them on a t-shirt.

Re: Armagetron T-Shirts!
It's still in my mind, but I need the cycle model in a blender friendly format as I want to try to create an exploded view in 3D. So if anybody can attach the default cycle model here in some blender ready format, I could continue working on that shirt design.F! Infamous wrote:So... What ever happened to the whole t-shirt idea?

Now that there are better pics of the lightcycle innards in the tron legacy trailers, should the t-shirt idea be revived?

Re: Armagetron T-Shirts!
I like where it's headed! Could you take out all the shading and stuff? It would be awesome to just see it as "line art". I don't know if you've reviewed any of the "ideas" in this post that show the lightcycle or maybe the Tron 2 movie trailers to get an idea of how to add details to the exploded pieces, but that might be a good idea. If it works out, I'll gladly buy a batch of shirts and send them out to people.
Re: Armagetron T-Shirts!
something like this?
Re: Armagetron T-Shirts!
As few colors as possible would be best, I assume.

Re: Armagetron T-Shirts!
Good job word! I think it might work better if you have the cycle shown from the side instead of the bottom, and have it explode diagonally instead of vertically?
