you need to add gSvgOutput.cpp to the project files.

No, no other compilers. At least none that cause less work. I'm using code::blocks for my builds, you could just grab those if you don't want to hack.

Oh well I guess.

Yes I use your builds Z-Man but I'm just trying to experiment with something even though I might be actually messing around with it :P

Yes Z-Man. Kyle said I need to add gSvgOutput.cpp to gCycle.cpp, gExplosion.cpp gGame.cpp and gWinZone.cpp but... how do I include them in there?

Do I simply do:

Code: Select all

#include "gSvgOutput.cpp"
in those files?

Never mind. I've figured out.

It seemed the file wasn't included with the rest of the sources.

I am however still having a problem with this error:
"The program can't start because libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this."

I can run the program if I go into Build and click "Run" on "Armagetron" but when I try to execute the program, it gives me that error.

Any ideas why it's happening like this?

Nope, sorry, never seen that one. Googling it finds this:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4984 ... -dw2-1-dll
Looks helpful.

Thanks Z-Man but I figured out what the mistake was. I was using build_codeblocks which was stuffing up the compiling.

Actually I first tested it in my windows XP (Installed virtualbox and installed XP in it) and worked find there without build_codeblocks. Instead I used your builds inside armagetronad and VALA! IT WORKED! :D

I'm thinking of making a tutorial on this but I'm not certain. What do you guys think?

Tutorials are always good. Just give it a date stamp (or a 'last checked with version X' note) so people can know when it's outdated.

Z-Man, I've made the tutorial. It's split into two parts because I wanted to show almost the full process of the compiling. The titles of the videos are [CodeBlocks][Armagetron-sty+ct 03-05-2012]. Is that ok?

Actually I love the music I place in it. Both the tutorials have the music I love listening to whenever I feel down or doing work :)

Anyway here are the links to them:
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20dU1vcxEsE
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCC6W6MLKPE

I simply love the music :D
The beginning of Part 1 and the ending of Part 2. They are awesome! :D
It's a pity that my production tool didn't do well in outputting their original audio :(
BTW, all the songs in them are Japanese but I'm not Japanese and I don't understand what they are saying but I don't worry about that cause I enjoy the music ;)

I'm the same way about a lot of music that's in English.
