I found the STL documentation rather useful when I did C++:

I like rice. And all other kinds of Chinese food.

Python

Post by Lucifer »

I love python, and this was the essay that got me to look at it seriously. I used to think "Whitespace shouldn't be a syntax error" and that's why python was dumb, but now I think differently.

Sometimes LUA is very usable (you can embed it into your C or C++ program).

Anyone here use DarkBASIC? http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com/ It's a great programming language.
There is also an upgraded version, called DarkBASIC Professional. It has more commands, but costs a lot more:

Nintendo Wii. Nintendo DS. Nintendo 64. PS3. PS2 PS1. XBox 360. XBox Live. XBox. Nintendo GameCube. Nintendo GameBoy Color. Nintendo GameBoy Advance. Nintendo GameBoy. Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Nintendo Game & Watch.
AMAZING!

Not a serious language, but fun anyway: Unlambda!

http://www.madore.org/~david/programs/unlambda/

I once wrote an interpreter for that language in C++. Actually, turns out that my interpreter is faster and more correct than any that I found out there on the internet.
