Armagetron Advanced, First Release

Post by Tank Program »

Among us development staff we proposed a release date of July 1st about a week and a bit ago. So far, things have been on track to meet this date. We're closing in on the final stretch, and now that I'm back from vacation, well, you do the math. So, let's all hope for Armagetron Advanced 0.2.7.0 shortly! (It's just a matter of writing documentation really, our least favorite part, or, at least my least favorite part...)

I think we will be releasing to beta testers tomorrow...

Looks familiar... hehe, what kind of system options are there? Perhaps I will just have to wait and see? 8)

hey, i love the bots at the 2.7 test-serve, they have a hell of a lot more personality than the old ones.

0.2.7.0-win test server

I set it up with the Goshdarn settings that Rudeboy posted a while ago and modified the single player settings to be more like the multiplayer settings. I also changed all the bot names to a lot you. :D The only thing I've noticed is that the single player network game doesn't seem to switch out players like the local single player game so you are always playing against the same bots. Maybe it does after winning a match, not sure.
