Freaking cold

Post by Lucifer »

It's freaking cold now. No more "Texas is warm"-smugness for me. 24 degrees! It's not even supposed to go much over freezing today. :(

32 is freezing point of water. So it's 7 degrees below freezing, with one degree fahrenheit being 5/9 a degree of celcius.

(If you don't want to do the math, google has a nice converter :) )

It's currently 28° F here. That's -2.2° C.

I hate it. I hate the cold. Cold is like pain for me. I wish I could hibernate throughout the winter. Unfortunately, homo sapiens' evolutionary track hasn't provided for such a condition. Damn you, evolution!

It's been rediculously warm so far this winter in Sweden... Staying above 0C most of the time, which believe it or not, is warm for here...

Yep, no real winter in Finland either. Almost no snow (in southern Finland) and barely below 0 C degrees. Forecasts say we'll get more snow next week :D

(and 105F would be a very lousy sauna  )
