As we were discussing about Troy I just thought it would be interesting to know what you consider as being the "worst" films from your point of view.
My top 5 are:
1.)The Forgotten (!!!!!! Shame on you Julianne !!!!!!)
2.)Troy
3.)Titanic
4.)Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions
5.)van Helsing
There are loads more but these came to my mind immediately.

Sabarai: You have just lost all chances of ever entering the community of geeks
My list of movies that I actually watched and that were terrible in a completely unenjoyable way:
1. Con Air
2. The Rock (I'm really allergic to faking action and excitement by shaking the camera wildly and turing the music volume up beyond the pain threshold.)
3. Planet of the Apes (the new one)
4. Event Horizon (Yawn!)
There should be more, but I think I successfully erased my memory of the REALLY bad ones. There were two spoof movies, one on the Silence of the Lambs and the other on the generic Horror movie, "I know you screamed last summer" or something. Gaa, now you reminded me! The pain, the pain...
There are lots of movies that are bad in an enjoyable way. The Japanese Godzilla movies, for example, Horror movies from the 40's and 50's (The Blob, Them!). The two new "The Mummy" movies are on that list, too. Any Sci-Fi or Horror flic with a budget of less than five million bucks has good chances with me.
Current movie tip: Wallace and Gromit. Go see it! This is an order! (Provided you're not in that age window of about 16-21 where you think animation is only for children.)

I think most movies, especially mainstream ones, are crap. Most are the same, actually. This is why I don't watch many movies. They're not meant to be good, and they're certainly not meant to be interesting. They're meant to sell, only.
And yes, Sabarai, very much shame upon thee.
(Does anyone else have the "Monty Python & the Quest for the Holy Grail" computer game, by 7th Level? You know, it's the best CD-ROM game of 932 A.D.!)

NOO ANIMATION MOVIES OWN ALL MOVIES!!!! (Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Madagaskar, Ice Age own but are not actually films for in the best movie list ) (Yes, Shark Tale sucked)z-man wrote:Current movie tip: Wallace and Gromit. Go see it! Uhm... I think Con Air is a very nice movie just as the 2 new mummy movies (The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King). Though both the 1984 and 2001(or 2000 or 2002) versions of Planet of the Apes suck really bad, forgot about them, I banned them from my mind.
And: I don't care about budgets for movies, as long as they're good.
Os: So what if movies are made to sell? it's NICE!! GO KAPITALISM GO (Boy, I'm making friends here now , first saying Monty Python sucks and now say kapitalism is good with a whole bunch of communists here )
