I've actually seen this, boy, was it messed up.
hehe ive seen both the original and Return of the Killer Tomatoes!
The second movie is really messed up and is worth watching just to see George Clooney hamming it up 1988 style
if anybody ever bumps into him they should remind him of this
I bet he wishes he never made that stinker of a movie

I remember in college sodium + H2O is a lot of fun:

Guess you just have to see it in real life to appreciate its coolness.

i think Calcium has a similar reaction

All alkali metals are highly reactive, and not found free in nature. Sodium's a lightweight. The others include lithium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, and fracium. Just a few grams of (one of those; I forget which) will blow up a bathtub full of water. Needless to say, do not try this at home...or at the chem lab at school.

not amusing may be a bit much, but the expression you're wearing on the pic is getting close ;)
about the long hair, hippy, linux etc stuff: it reminds me of this stuff ( http://ixsoft.de/cgi-bin/web_store.cgi? ... 001DV.html )( a DVD about linux ):
Revolution OS erzählt die Geschichte einer ungewöhnlichen Gruppe von Leuten, die zu 3 Dritteln Liberale, zu 2 Dritteln Kommunisten und etwa 1 Drittel Mitglieder einer Garagen-Band sind.
which translates to:
Revolution OS tells the story of a unusual group of people that wre liberal to 3 thirds, communist to 2 thirds and member of a garage band to 1 third
they missed out hippies ;)

my new avatar is NOT me. it's a self-built shotgun + a firework.
