Is this like a choose your own ending story? I pick the dark cave that might contain food or bears.

Why can I only select one option? Some of them sound so enticing. Should be able to select one for each person.

4 Options now available

I don't see why someone should be demoted for a singular incident like this (a mod with experience is more desirable than someone without, right?), and what exactly Durf did aside from wording his opinion in a bad way. This is still about Vogue IMO (but I'm not going to vote here).

Right. Durf says that men are better suited to being doctors than women, and this is about Vogue.Word wrote:I don't see why someone should be demoted for an incident like this, and what exactly Durf did aside from wording his opinion in a bad way. This is still about Vogue IMO.
Maybe it started that way. Maybe you read too much of your patriarchal bible.
Maybe.

Obviously I can't add anything new to the debate when I reply to this. He was called out for what he said, and I think that was enough. He did try to explain himself in a civil way and wrote a few lengthy posts. Unlike Liz and her peers he didn't gang up on anyone or launched a hashtag/spam campaign, and he also didn't just end the discussion with a ban.Right. Durf says that men are better suited to being doctors than women, and this is about Vogue.

He couldn't gang up on anybody. He was banned. It was his supporters that did the ganging up, and they did it to me.Word wrote:Obviously I can't add anything new to the debate when I reply to this. Why the spambot is still hitting the forums is an open question.
In any case, the ban was for reasons we have well established. Sexism isn't tolerated around here, and he expected a "debate", as you seem to expect, when banning was more appropriate.
That you don't understand is a clear sign you haven't read your bible to completion.
Anyway, I have to be at work in a few hours, I don't have time to have this discussion tonight.

I can't help but chuckle, you know. For some reason there seems to be the big misapprehension about this place. Oh well.
