Elo hell is when you aren't good enough to consistently contribute to the outcome of your games. It may be Elo hell for you.

I moreso meant the amount of afkers and people who feed on purpose because "lololtroll" seem to be worse in gold2 than before that. Well, maybe you'll notice once you get to my elo.

I have actually been higher than your current elo, and on a more competitive ladder. Remember, you're on EU West and I'm on NA. It's a completely different set of players you're dealing with.

Is NA more competitive than EUW though? I would've imagined it'd be pretty similar.

They probably are pretty close. I only brought it up to rub the fact that NA beat EU in all stars (which is the closest thing to solo queue in the competitive scene) w00t w00t go NA!

There has been an increase in ragers and try-too-hards since the announcement of S3 rewards; but that has happened every year in the ratings I've been in (unranked S1 (under 1250), Silver [~1400] S2, Gold 2/3 S3).

PSA: Your league doesn't determine the opponents you get matched with, your MMR (match making rating) does. I had a game where there was a diamond 5 player (0 lp) on my team. His MMR was low enough to put him with Gold players.

It's weird though, I transfered from NA to EUW and I ended up in silver5 while I was silver2 on NA. That HAS to have something to do with EUW ladder being more competitive. :b

Not necessarily. Your MMR could have been shit; but you haven't played enough to drop down on NA. Silver (NA) is the most chaotic tier ever. IDK if it's more stable on EU; but NA silver players have extremely varied skill levels.

But yeah, the're pretty close as you get higher. Our win/loss is similar, we're both extremely close in terms of where we stand in the league system, and we are both at the same LKS (which is as close to Elo as you're getting).
