He's now stuck and win +0LP in case of a win because his mmr is too high for diamond 5 (but he is plat1)

Actually, his MMR is too low for Diamond 5. If his MMR was higher than Diamond 5, he would be put in promos.

Do you really think that by going from gold 1 to plat 1 in 3 weeks makes his mmr too low just when he reaches 99LP at plat 1 ?

It seem to be a known fact for plat1 players, they seem to be blocked at plat1 when they climbed too fast and they need to play with lower mmr duo to be able to get into promos.
