@Z-man and Tank

Thanks for finally locking the topic in question. I actually read the inforwars website and forums. I found the posting in the thread in question to just be annoying at best.... In fact, of late I have been mostly ignoring this subforum because of the effects of FFFFiXXit's (or however you spell his nick) posts.
Pretty sad when someone that agrees with a lot of the info presents finds it as annoying as those that don't share some of these views.

@FFFFIIIIXXITT (or however you spell your annoying nick)

Umm dude? One of the recurring ideas among serious infowarriors is that the "message needs to be put out in the right way". One of the things that this means is avoiding things you can't show a ton of evidence to support, not spamming, and being nice about it. Really, you have shown far to much uncouth for my taste. Please try to grow up just a little and contribute something here, not just annoyance, spam, and bumping old topics for no apparent reason.

Well since you put it that way. I did fu*k up. The thread wasn't run the way it should be.... I still would like to continue discussion about that whole scene.... what exactly is it that annoyed you the most (for future reference). Also what are the ethical ramifications of meaningful thread necromancy?

What annoyed me the most was the lack of any meaningful content on your part. Posting article titles and links, without any thoughtful discussion and perhaps a well chosen article excerpt is meaningless at best. Also, do NOT start a controversial discussion like this unless you are prepared with some real evidence, beyond what you read in an infowars article. I am talking about the use of actual government documents, interviews and articles that are from the mainstream media, etc.

As to the thread necromancy, it's simple. Unless you are adding to the old discussion in a meaningful way, then you aren't adding anything to the discussion. So, you bump a thread most people find annoying that you bumped, without any reason whatsoever. What really makes this community work is meaningful interaction on the part of its members. You are not doing this when you do "thread necromancy".

So, let's see. You already started spamming meaningless bumps without even waiting for a response and your demands are unreasonable. I'm fed up with this. Completely. Stop this now.

That's not a particularly fun joke, FFIIXXIITT, and I do sincerely hope your thread necromancy idea is a joke. I point out my previous suggestion that making fewer, more well thought out posts would be more useful. It looks like compguygene agrees as well. As for z-man well, he doesn't look too happy, so I'd avoid annoying him.

If you're being an idiot just for fun, you're still being an idiot.Not to mention you look like an idiot who, upon being called out, pretends to have done it all just for fun.

And yeah, this character limit on posts isn't going to improve post quality one bit.

I don't think I've ever seen you on Armagetron. Why are you here? And the admins don't need to put up with this; just ban him please.

banning him would be a nice, but temporary solution. he has already proved he can circumvent bans with relative ease. I would really like him to change the content and coherence of his posts, rather than be inundated with puppet accounts

agreed, isn't re-quoting re-quoted quotes of quotes spam? Ban evasion is my middle name and so I don't see it as being anything but detrimental to the current state of relative peace here on armagetron forums. And frozen i am on the grids daily under the name WeSlo normally. I rarely use ffiixxiitt because of my notoriety. Before i got banned from the forum i was banned from online servers for profanity and yet I find people far worse on the grid and almost pornographic in their conversations. Though I am not entirely innocent to this myself I can say that your game Z-Man is not family friendly at all. All due to the ability to say whatever. Is there a chat filter for the game on the server end and if so why do most servers decline the use of it? Back to the grid, I operate under a few other aliases including the names of many of you here or those that I find on the grid. Another major issue with a good ranking system is the ability for someone to come along and play like shit under your name... I try not to be an imposter as of lately for though you can be a dick doesn't mean that it is your duty to be; for example Z-Man could be a huge dick and ban me, in fact, he could have banned me at almost any time between my last ban and now... This to me is a sign of great patience on the part of the moderators and admins around here. This is why I haven't left and wont leave: i love it, tron, you, everything.
