What made you feel great today?

I have just been online ordering my new computer. It took me many hours to do, deciding exactly which components to get. It will arrive within the next week. Finally I will be able to play this game with decent FPS. I must say thanks to Flex for helping me through the process, even though we didn't agree on everything, he was excellent moral support. Cheers Flex.

It's not the most amazing computer on earth but compared to what I currently have, it should be a dream come true. Here are the more important specifications:

CPU: Quad core Phenom II, 3.4GHz
GFX: Radeon HD 6670
RAM: 2GB DDR3-1600
Monitor: 24" LED LCD

I think I might need to get a new screen, the graphics card I just got, while going to be awesome, quite possibly won't be compatible with mine >.> Gonna need one with HDMI in I think, but we'll see.

That is unlikely. Your monitor has only VGA in and your graphics card does not seem to have VGA out, right? Does it have DVI out? If so, there are cheap passive adapters from DVI out to VGA out; DVI actually still contains the analog VGA signal and graphic cards *usually* deliver it.

By the way, talking about screens, I actually prefer the image quality of CRT monitors (I currently use a 17" one) but I want a 24" inch widescreen monitor. Now, trying to find a 24" widescreen CRT is not easy, plus the fact that it would use a rediculous amount of power, therefore I went for a LED LCD.

My 6 year old nephew was wondering why you can't breathe in outer space. I told him that we need oxygen to breathe and that there's oxygen in the air - but not in outer space. It all ended with him learning that oxygen comes from the plants, and that they "breathe in" what we breathe out.
He then spent the next 10 minutes or so running around in our garden breathing on trees and flowers for their survival, until he finally understood that wasn't really necessary.
