Your car!
Your car!
How much do you know about your car? Can you list off the make, model, and all the details? Do you fix your own car, change the oil yourself? Do you even own a car?
There have gotta' be some car fanatics around here >.>
*by car I also mean truck, SUV, motorcycle, whatever...*
tl;dr: Cars, discuss.

Re: Your car!
Currently, hmm, I don't remember either the brand or model because I repainted the damn bike. It's pretty customized, though. Took off (well, wore out) the cheap-ass mountain bike tires that came on it, now it's got fairly fancy road bike tires (I've now worn out two sets of tires on this bike). Front brakes have been upgraded to, ummm, now I forgot the name. One of the big brand name bicycle brake companies. Rack, of course. Upgraded from the attach-to-the-saddle-post kind to the bolt-over-the-rear-wheel kind. Dual suspension, with the rear suspension adjusted pretty tight. It's a nice ride, comfortable, goes fairly fast. Top speed is somewhere around 35mph, although I haven't been riding much, so I usually can't get it past 15 right now. I'll be riding it a lot more in the near future, but that does depend a lot on whether or not I get a job outside of the home and if so, where it's located.
My car, which isn't my daily driver, is an 1986 toyota celica. No significant mods yet, but I've been prepping it for some body work. It's got bad lower control arm bushings, so it's mostly parked. (Well, since I got arrested for the DWI, and have been out on bond with a don't-drive restriction, the car's just sitting)
The car I usually ride in when I go places (which hasn't been often, haven't been getting out much) is a '07 Kia Sportage, 4 cylinder, and I don't do any work on it. I probably will, though, it's my soon-to-be mother-in-law's car.

Now I drive an Orange 2005 GMC Canyon with 4 holes in its roof from where a Terminix Bug used to sit.
The truck looks just like the on below except the one I drive has black spray paint over the word "TERMINIX" on both doors.
Re: Your car!
Why did u get rid of the bug? That's how you get all the bitches bro.
Re: Your car!
I drive a 2003 or 2004(can't remember) Dodge Caravan. It's even pimped out with a DVD player.

And yes, I'm jealous mecca, my truck doesn't even have a CD player
Re: Your car!
Topic saved! TY Zman!
@Spin: A CD player isn't that big of a deal anymore, especially since the use of mp3 players (ipods and phones) in cars seems to be much more popular these days.

2005 Peugeot 206, 1.4L engine.
I love cars but don't really care about their maintenance. I just like driving. Probably done 3,000 miles this year, most of the unnessecary road trips around the country.

Re: Your car!
I have a 1999 Saturn Sl 1. I have put over 30,000 on it in a little over 2 years. Yeah, I live in my car. I need to upgrade to a CD player so it isn't so boring. But at least it's the only purple car on the road .

Ok, but why did I add this signature? I was like 15 and thought I was smart? What a brat.
