Some of us want to remain anonymous. Some of us are "old school" in wanting to keep our identities and such private, and separate from the web, for various reasons. So, what, confidentiality and retaining one's privacy is childish? Please. There's nothing grown up, wise, or enlightened—or smart—about carelessly, casually, even recklessly sharing one's personal information with countless strangers, especially potentially (and proven ::cough::) malicious ones.
