I often get asked why Marrow? Well, I'm not named after bone tissue.

The name comes from a great science fiction movie, "Gattaca." The main character is Jerome Marrow.

Back in the days when I was an irc junky (clean several years now) and net whore (mostly clean now, heh) I was flirting with this chick and made some comment about using my imagination. From then on I would enter the channel as "Majination" every now and again as a not so subtle sign that I was there to... play.

I had been using my previous alias/handle/nick since 91, starting out with it on a bbs I had been running. I figured it was time to retire that nick, so became Majination on a more permanent basis.

I guess there is some game called Maji Nation? People have asked me about whether I play it. I swear, just when you think you make something unique, permanent spelling mistake and all... sheesh.

BTW I thought it was Jerome Morrow. Or maybe my engrish sucks and I cant spell from what i hear.

ok my full name is noderunner n54

noderunner i just liked, but lots of things are called noderunner (haven't met another person called it yet though):
- brand of routers etc.
- an old virus
- a wifi game
didn't choose the name because of any of these and the wifi game appeared afterwards (but before i thought of getting noderunner.com but i don't mind, they saved me money you could say

), and i didn't know of loderunner until somebody started asking.

n54 i added because i needed a last name to distance myself from all the above. i chose it for fun, a joke on nsa ("i love nsa - they listen to everything i say" j/k but i actually like nsa and think too many people are too scared of them + Enemy of the State is one of my favourite movies)

of course n54 could mean:
- nsa
- number 54
- norwegian space agency (don't think there exists an organisation here with that name btw)
- in54ne
- n64 - 10 (don't own a nintendo but once i played one until my fingertips had square imprints of the different symbols lol *hurt*)

but it doesn't

btw i liked gattaca, fun that they named the movie using only base-pair notation. maybe if they make a sequel it will be named ctaatgt?

edit: what n54 could mean:
lately i found that n54 is a nice front part to the s command in nethack (faster to type - used to do n50s before (it only uses turns until something happens anyway - like finding that door or passage))

ah nintendo thumb! it has afflicted all harcore gamers, i used to get it from gameboy. the other systems dont have buttons with imprinted letters so you dont get it from them

-etc

so i choose: limette ( like the fruit: lime )
cause its small and sweat just like me... lol.

Well, lets see............. Seeker has been my handle for a long time now, like since the summer I graduated from high school. I dont remember why i was given that name, but it stuck (among other nick's that wont be posted for now !!).
