Well, I've seen quite a few monitors that claim to support legacy resolutions they actually don't, so it's probably not even the operating system's fault, no matter how tempting that might be…

Try pressing f to get out of fullscreen mode, then use arma's menus to select a resolution your monitor supports.

(I hate this trend of monitors being too lazy to display really low resolutions…)

It's pretty specific to the cockpit system, but it's not really rocket science. All it really does is act as if the contents of the <WidgetTemplate> tag were inside the widget itself.

We could do it like SVG, where you can define (almost) everything in both plain attributes and CSS.

By the way, a template system not unlike the one z-man described is already in place in the cockpit.

nono, it was some time in the past (2006 in fact). All I was saying is that it's included in the official builds.

Oh, good job on the fortress AI, by the way :-)

Yeah, that's (almost) what I did for link 2. Apparently tinyurl limits the length of data: URIs, though…

Link 3 used to be the domain of a well-known three-letter US government organisation.

It should be quite easy to add a setting to take a screenshot every frame (and make it override the one in the recording, of course).

SILENCE_ALL on 0.2.8

About SVN r9136 : The functionality dlh built into SILENCE_ALL was already implemented with ENABLE_CHAT. Actually the old behavior of SILENCE_ALL was quite useful if you joined an organized match and didn't want to see chat from new players: You'd just wait for all players to arrive and then change ...

Not that I'm any good at making videos, but assuming you get a framerate that's constantly over 25 FPS you can record with a client configured with -DFIXED_FRAMERATE=25 and then later play it back using a modified client that takes a screenshot every second (look in rSysdep.cpp) with --benchmark --p...

I think the design isn't that bad, even not considering its age.

Besides, go change the default design of (www|wiki|forums).armagetronad.net and you'll get entire pages full of threads on how the old one was soo much better in almost every aspect :-)
