Re: Armagetron on my phone

I can as well, using Steam link. I'm assuming this is some sort of streaming.

Re: Lightron + Armagetron Repository: Upgrades & Changes

I've managed to speed up the server list update a ton, and now it runs in approx. 10 seconds. This means that the server browser is now updating again every 1 minute to keep it more of a "live" view of what's going on. :D

Re: And now we have git.

I just signed up to GitLab with my Google login, so no big deal really. It probably isn't worth doing both.

Also, I code on a gaming laptop. I use my personal Alienware 17r4 for work and while at home. Eclipse runs great for me. I can't say whether or not it works well on low end computers.

Re: And now we have git.

Could we ignore eclipse files as well? (attached patch - using .txt because .patch isn't allowed)

Doesn't seem to bad as long as there's like one commit a month (might be being generous). I'm unsure what's going to happen to all of this syncing once we hit a conflict on one of them though.

Re: And now we have git.

I would vote GitHub sort of for popularity. Most projects I work with or put issues on use GitHub, so one account manages them all. I don't use anything on gitlab, except a self hosted version of it, so I don't even have an account there. I think the most popular is good for us making easier to recr...

Re: And now we have git.

Great! I was going to suggest this in one of your previous threads. I never remember how exactly to use bzr because in normal life I never find people using it. Git brings us to the present at least and makes for easy to handle and merge branches. Good move. I wouldn't mind seeing the bzr become his...

Re: Fortress Test Server

I'm a bit of an outsider when it comes to fortress, but I do agree removing some of the dead space would be a bonus. A thinner play area would keep people a little closer together and provide a little more action. It may make it easier to build walls though blocking people from coming with little to...

Re: Should We Rebuild the Wiki?

Of course, I inherited a bit of the issues that existed when hosted elsewhere. I have upgraded the wiki files and database and stuck a mobile-friendly theme on there. I am going to make this more Tron themed later on, but I wanted to start with a mobile friendly theme and probably get the theme clos...

Re: Should We Rebuild the Wiki?

I redirected wiki.armagetronad.org to wiki.lightron.org, you probably want to tell your setup about that now to keep the address line intact. I removed the redirect that was enforcing the domain, so both wiki.armagetronad.org and wiki.lightron.org can both be used, giving us a fallback in case anyt...

Re: Should We Rebuild the Wiki?

I would like to update you guys, and potentially ask Z-Man (or possibly Tank) for one more thing. The wiki is set up and working, and you can get to it at the following URL. http://wiki.lightron.org I have also set up my haproxy to allow "wiki.armagetronad.org" as well. If either Z-Man or ...

Re: Should We Rebuild the Wiki?

Not that anyone was complaining, but your passwords on the arma wiki are hashed with sha512. This means that I would have to (very, very slowly .. potentially many years) brute force your password. It cannot simply be read. The benefit is that we will retain all usernames, nobody can "steal&quo...

Re: Lightron + Armagetron Repository: Upgrades & Changes

With an update to the network, some of my servers are going to be making their way back and becoming more playable. Some of these include the snake survival and zombie invasion servers. Along with this, I have fixed the script to allow you to preview the highscores, and where you rank in the snake s...
