Re: Fort Cup - Discussion Thread

I'd lean more towards team captains. Country votes for team captains, these (one/two/three?) pick the teams. +1; however, what do you have in mind for how the captains choose? If they each took turns choosing a player in the order of how many votes they got, then the best US players could still be ...

Re: Kick Vote Abuse

Hello PiN! There are differing opinions regarding if this kick voting actually expands the size of the "elite community". On one hand, Sine is right - people have always treated "noobs" in this manner, and it has increased the size of the fortress playing community over time. How...

Great tournament! Was a fun new and challenging experience! Best of luck to the teams that did advance!!

INW was trying to crack a joke, no need to jump on him over it.

All the harsh responses in this topic as well as the predictions ones lead one to believe everything is being taken a bit too seriously, amirite?

Re: The Ladle has lost its spark

My mates and I still find the Ladle a lot of fun, my enjoyment of it is always increasing, though we've yet to get that whole "winning" thing down - so winning isn't necessarily related to your enjoyment of it. Maybe having so many tournaments all the time detracts from the fun of any of t...

There's no doubt that there's support for Play Fortress, with all the topics/posts on this forum abo...

Re: Ladle 49 Predictions

Opening Round uNa v. Velocity ( 2 -0) If uNa needs encouragement that my shower vision is going to come true, they couldn't have been given a better opening round opponent; uNa has beaten the newest Vcl in both a fortress war and sumo war, and is more than prepared for this match. Pure Luck v. ~*SP...
