Re: Any ideas on racing?
no tronners has it so walls are what u set them you can still make the rims low: edit the maps in arma local directory and change the height values to 3 or whatever you want This trick will work until the server admin updates maps' version: in that case your client will download the new file and yo...

Re: LADLE new rule about aliases
Alias tags should always be before the name I'm gonna object to this one. Not only because I put it at the end of my nick but mainly because some tags won't allow auto-completing (for example CTxGonzap , which you can't auto-complete by typing Gon ), which adds a hassle to admins and other players ...

Re: Looking ahead - Ladle 21 - "Rules"
mmm I thought it was like "vote if you're intersted"
if it was one vote per team, mine doesn't count then
btw, how can it be by team if we don't know which team will play yet

Re: Looking ahead - Ladle 21 - "Rules"
team_max_players - 6v6? 7v7? 8v8? 6v6: well balanced score_hole - yes (+1 point), no (0 points) no 2v2 - unconquerable? conquerable? unconquerable scoring distribution - score_win 6, fortress_conquered_score 4? or score_win 10, fortress_conquered_score 0? 6/4 brackets - random teams, seeded teams (...

Re: LADLE new rule about aliases
I don't understand this discussion here. A solution is very simple. Everyone who want participate in the ladle tournament has to create an account here. "Then" when this tournament starts we have to login. ... yea Alien, in a perfect world that would be the simpler solution ;) the matter ...

Re: LADLE new rule about aliases
That still allow people to write down aliases on the challenge board and use those names which isn't that much different. If we want to stop people using aliases we should necessitate authenticity. Personally I don't want to stop people using aliases. why should we stop that? Simply, if the playing...

I saw, but I suggest another rule in that thread:DDMJ wrote:That's already there:DDMJ wrote:

Re: LADLE new rule about aliases
Ok, so maybe aliases provide an advantage. Personally, I'm not convinced though. mmm okay, to be or not to be... this is not the question. Again, this topic is about approving or not a new rule: - during ladle matches, every player must use the name written on the challenge board - just it! we can ...

Re: Twenthieth TRONIC Ladle
6v5 is an acceptable unbalance
6v4 is usually boring, cause rounds always end in 3v1 or such
but if you really want to play in a team of 4, you could simply fit the empty spots with fake names.

Re: LADLE new rule about aliases
Yes, and I think this ties in with another problem, that of listing players on the challenge board at all. The hard solution is, all players must register somehow, the registration has to be visible, and they can only play under their registered names using authentication. But this doesn't prevent ...

Re: LADLE new rule about aliases
alright anyway I don't really care about what happened, rather I'm looking forward, for the next games so please discuss about we should or not apply this rule we spend lots of words to organize the ladle and to make it as clearer and fairer as possible, so I believe this rule would fit both scopes ...
