Well when a client joins does he not read the settings from the settings_custom.cfg file? That would some how give the clients access to the server relative info such as pass?

The logs are all in the var folder. On mac its in the user/library/application support/var. Windows hides in an invisible folder called application data. But arma doesnt record the chat logs by default. I know that there is a topic on that in the forums.

Is the authentication.cfg included in the install?

I dont know it just feel like im wasting the wood. The poor tree gave its life so i could show its inner beauty.

Thnx for the suggestions. I have been working with wood for a few years now and have found that most woods look better either stained or natural. The only issue with colored stains it that it gives the piece an unnatural look. Ill post some more pics as the project moves along, lets see how it looks...

What kind of wood it is? Linden wood, its a common wood used for sculpting. what size wood did you start with a 6x6 or an 8x8 ? The blank was 12"x6"x3". i moded the design a little to fit my idea of what it should look like. I always thought that it would look better with a wider rea...

This is my dilemma, i could paint it but that i think would ruin the whole idea of making it out of wood. I could stain it and then give it a nice coat of varnish. Or i could use it as a mold and make a bunch of them that then i would paint. What are your thoughts?

OK from what i read there i would have to compile a windows dedicated server install myself right? See the issue is that i cant compile a windows version on my mac (or can i?) and i cant have the host do it for me. The one on the main download page doesn't include authentication?

Ok well there must be some resolution command that is sending conflicting info to the client. I suggest you search the lines in the old user.cfg that you need and copy/paste them to the new one.
