Re: 0.4 Cockpit Discussion
Two reasons experience trumps knowledge: First, the minimap was so important, it was the first feature added after the fork. I and quite a few other players (particularly in team play, not necessarily fortress) find the minimap essential. It helps that, at least in my cockpit, it's located in a pla...

Re: 0.4 Cockpit Discussion
I prefer the map to be centered on the screen , and I think that's the easiest way to use it, since you simply glance down and see it. Never liked it off to the side like it was originally. That said, how to line up other gauges around it sort of becomes obvious, and I like the horizontal gauges yo...

Re: 0.4 Cockpit Discussion
It looks nice so far, but the one thing I dislike is how cluttered the bottom left is, that's a lot of stuff in one corner and I think the time/fps is better suited for the top right or left of the screen I meant to respond to this topic but Magi had it covered anyways. I think the prototype images...

Re: Them Trolls (Split)
I'm a bit annoyed that my toolset is limited. What can we do to help? I know Tank Program only checks the forum annually. Do you anticipate any limits to phpBB3? It it time to move or restructure these forums? The bright side of all this is that the remaining players what aren't complete screwballs...

Re: Is it just me?
It's people like Tweezy who would inspire me to spend a few days of my life learning actual cracking just to **** his computer up. It'd be totally worth my time to be the hero the internet deserves

Easy! You just need to cut your IP cable. Now, this is very important and I would not want you to get hurt: You know regular power outlets and power plugs, right? The IP cable is the one cable that goes from your internet box to an outlet in the wall that looks different than a power cable. Plug th...

Re: Heart Disease / Anxiety?
Thanks Monkey :D Kyle, but... meh :( I suppose it's possible. I don't think it would be caffeine, though. I love coffee milk and I drink loads of Dr. Pepper. I think it would happen much more often if that were a trigger. It would be really hard to pinpoint something because I doubt it would be a wh...

Re: Heart Disease / Anxiety?
Monkey, No, I do not get a pins and needles sensation anywhere. Yes. I am very certain my heart is beating abnormally. It actually beats to hard that if I'm sitting still my entire body visibly shakes from my heartbeat. The first time I told anyone about it was when I was in school one day and it wo...

Re: Heart Disease / Anxiety?
I knew I'd get insightful responses from you guys. Great! So, I'm not extremely worried and freaking out :) Thanks for looking out for me and being reassuring, though. It's been happening for a while and it's more puzzling than anything. @Sine: That certainly doesn't sound like a bad idea. As an ele...

Heart Disease / Anxiety?
So, this is something I've been dealing with for quite a while in my life and I've never really had any answers. Try as I might, researching the topic yields many different results that often collide with one another and end up with many more questions than answers. Now, this isn't a health forum or...

Re: Food & Animals
So, what happens when the hens age and stop laying eggs? It only takes a couple years for most places to get rid of them and get some younger hens in because they don't keep up with their demand. I'm sure you would keep them around longer as a small family thing, but they will stop laying eggs soon...

Re: Food & Animals
I'm from a Cajun heritage and I couldn't imagine life without meat. I can't actually remember the last meal I ate that didn't involve meat in some fashion. Something I've noticed is that you guys are relating meat-eating with the method in which animals are treated on those 'animal farms.' My grandf...
