To think 36 points is a mediocre score.

Isn't this more like Flappy Non-Differentiable String Of Parabolic Segments With Constant But Discontinuous Second Derivative?

I can't say I really knew Elmo (let alone how to describe him with one word), but I do wish to offer my condolences.

Re: People all over the world I need your help

Hey, this isn't a final solution by any means. Nevertheless, these sandals do help by having relatively flat and flexible soles. Ventilation and not being crammed into a rigid shape (that inevitably doesn't match very well) are also benefits. Why no 'barefoot shoes'? I like the feeling of having not...

Re: People all over the world I need your help

I'd be of the opinion that you can morally accept eating milk products. If a cow isn't milked, it gets uncomfortable and can lead to various endocrine problems ultimately ending in the euthanisation of the cow. So yeah, it's beneficial for the cow to be milked. Cows with such problems simply appear...

Mostly sandals. I'd like to try going full-on barefoot more, but will have to wrap my head around people's reactions.

There's also the question of whether shoes are good at all in general.

Re: Problem with 'language British English not found'.

You're supposed to copy those folders (config, language, resource) along with the actual executable. It's best to keep everything in the same folder (you used the dmg, right?) unless you know what you're doing. /Users/manuel/… is where the source files were located on the machine used to compile the...

I can't connect to it, either. Damn you, God! Edit: Oh, the cannibals are back! And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. The problem with religion is that it can hardly be attacked directly; it's too ingrained in people...

Median, definitely. The mode will make some people ecstatic, but might well screw the majority over. Very sensitive to the distribution and noise as well. The average is sensitive to the distribution and outliers. In the most extreme case where voters aren't limited to a few choices, someone could v...

Indeed. The entire universe was only created yesterday, in a configuration consistent with being much older.

Re: Tabs vs Spaces

I like tabs. They suit the common task of indenting by certain intervals innately. Everyone can use their preferred tab width. If I absolutely want ASCII art or something else that needs characters to line up, I'll use spaces within, although the whole thing may be indented by tabs. Elastic tabstops...
