Re: Mother of all gushers could kill Earth's oceans

That spill is likely more catastrophic than the rare leaked media info suggests. As for the origin of oil there are 2 major theories - biotic or abiotic origin. The latter is gaining momentum as a result of experiments of russian scientists, who created hydrocarbon chains out of marble and some stuf...

Re: Mother of all gushers could kill Earth's oceans

Hilarious. There is one example of the everpresent greed for profit gone wild and now we all cry about our dear environment and whatever. I say greed because of the insatiable energy hunger coupled with lousy and cheap engineering of the company which was involved in building the rig - Halliburton. ...

Re: Ladle 33 without holes

I find it highly amusing that even though most people only hole in advantage situations for an easy crowding some of you want to disable them. Until everyone is using them properly e.g. cutting of the goalie - preferably killing it - or a sudden torpedo squad gaining access to the zone then sealing ...

Re: Post-Ladle 31 Tactics Discussion

If I assume good attackers a sweeper can hold at maximum 2 attackers. 3 can already speedhole and conquer a large part of the zone, or overpower the sweeper and kill him. 2 sweepers can hold 3 to 4 depending on the willingness to hole.

Re: Future ladles and Ladle 32 discussion

And again people are missing the point. What is happening in fortress is: -players exploiting the inherent characteristics of the gamemode -teams actually getting better at playing -together- (CT was the first there i suppose) These 2 points together lead to the phenomenom of the iron defense, since...

Re: Post-Ladle 30 Tactics Discussion

Funny. Not sure what the complaints are about, because a Fortress team finally adopted the core of what fortress is about: Teamplay. Using holes and adopting a good backyard defense need a concerted team effort. So please stick your complaints to where they belong. During my short time with SP Flex ...

Re: Feature Request: Remove Local Games

If it's possible adding a shortcut to the Internet game in the main menu would be ok. Not that it is needed, because any internet user with some spark of intelligence will find network games -> internet. I do heavily disagree with your and 2020's opinions about this game. In my opinion it is first a...

Re: global warming (its a money spinner)

I insisted on the point of the inherently corrupt hierarchic structure because it is necessary to understand that the establishment is uncousciously and in some cases even consciously only interested in what serves the structure. Thus when the human-made CO² based warming theory became prevalent, it...

Re: global warming (its a money spinner)

That is what I meant (but not formulated I admit) vast portions of our economic structure have to be rebuilt nearly from the ground up. Who can do that? Only the exisiting power structures/coorps. Fat chance to increase their reach and impose more control over the "consumer". It's a disrup...

Re: global warming (its a money spinner)

You do again totally ignore my point, which is the hierarchic structure of the society coupled with hightech. Also I am not saying that I know about what causes the warming. I am just saying that there is a high interest of the rich and powerful to keep the status quo. And the latest propaganda (cli...

Re: global warming (its a money spinner)

Actually CO² is the least "dangerous" greenhouse gas. Water steam is the major heat trapping gas in the atmosphere. CO² concentration will revert to a somewhat balanced level due to photosynthesis, if left alone. Of course cutting all the woods and generally eliminating plant-life while re...
