Re: Ladle Fortress 2014 (Discussion)
a principle I'd like to hear people discuss is the principle that the Bowl/Grand Ladle/Super Finale needs to have a larger sample size of competition than a normal ladle. IMO Championship tournament match-ups (whatever they are called) need to be more than best of 3 and they need to partly take plac...

Re: Ladle Fortress 2014 (Discussion)
yes the problem with the league idea is that it would be easy for a lot of bad things to happen like a) teams drop out halfway through a match day, leaving their opponents with no one to play b) matches not be taken seriously enough at the end of the day, one cannot add more matches that are equally...

Re: Ladle Fortress 2014 (Discussion)
every team would play 3 opponents. If you beat the opponent, you get their winning percentage for the season (or over the past 3 ladles, perhaps) added to your day's Ladle score. Top 2 day scores play a "final," and 3rd and 4th day scores play a consolation final. These would guarantee goo...

Re: Ladle Fortress 2014 (Discussion)
why don't we just play 3 or 4 league matches instead of tournaments for a 9 month season and then do a best of 5, double-elimination Bowl with the best 4 teams at the end of the season. Every team would get to play 3 or 4 rounds every Sunday, regardless of how good or bad they are. You would be guar...

Re: Ladle Fortress 2014 (Discussion)
this is an idea, bare with me give each player a 1-time use mine. A mine is like a shot that doesn't move. It only kills enemies, teammates can drive through it. It is like a small death-zone that only affects the enemy. It would have a radius about the size of a triple bind, maybe bigger. You could...

Re: Aliases Suck
you can give people an incentive to make themselves known by not engaging aliased people in conversation (and certainly by not making them web-banners )

Re: Sumo league - discussion, interest, brainstorming
giving it another shot. the site has been simplified. Instead of creating matches for people to join, you now just directly challenge a player. When they accept, a score report form is generated. Disputes are handled similarly to before. here's a video demonstration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R...

since you edited your original post to incorporate sine's suggestion, I think it's pretty unfair of you to leave your snappy reply to him as is.

Re: Tronny Awards PM
I already have proof. You claimed you made them. With his help or not, it's irrelevant. You can back away now, but you are only trying to distance yourself from this because of the points I made a couple minutes ago. In the original PM, you had no trouble taking credit for the nominations. Why are y...

Re: Tronny Awards PM
If I have good points, then there's nothing idiotic about it. The fact is, Soul began the year by ruining the predecessor to Tron Times and WGJ, and he's ending it by handing out awards. If he had ever apologized for his previous behavior, perhaps we could give him the most improved citizen tronny, ...
