The teamname stuff used to be set by "/team" which is now used for team messages.

My router (WRT54gs) claims to support uPnP. I've seen this in some other routers as well, with Windows XP even normal users should be able to check for it, because if they have a uPnP enabled router Windows XP shows a gateway in the network environment (atleast as long as uPnP is enabled :)).

I just remembered that Ed mentioned that maps with many axes are not playable due to the amount of bandwidth used to turn.

Perhaps it is possible to add a Mode where a Turn left and Turn right "state" is set, like the suggestion to toggle the brakes.

Probably more a feature for 0.3.0.

As for permission, it's exactly the image you got, only unaltered (with exception to sizing, of course). I would find it odd if he found it permissable for you to take it and alter it, but object to an unaltered version. And besides, the original art belongs to Disney anyway, so.... I guess his bac...

How about the customizable teamname support ?
The changes should be pretty isolated, but it probably would be wise to keep the "new team menu" out, because I'm not yet sure if it might cause sideeffects. (Had not enough time to test all cases yet.)

If it should be used as texture, it should be resized to 512x512 or 256x256. Otherwise Armagetron will probably not like the textures (or atleast has to rescale them internally). The HUD map and newer gauges will only be available once 0.3.0 development snapshots will be released.

That means 0.2.8.1 or 0.2.8.2 don't have a map yet, but there will probably be a alpha of 0.3.0 soon.
