This sounds really strange.... Are you sure this happens during make ? Check you have automake-1.9(.6) and autoconf-2.59 (the newest versions of those). Also be sure to run ./bootstrap.sh before running ./configure I might be wrong but to me the only place you could have a opengl.cpp is during confi...

I've got no problems either... with windows 2000.

EDIT: But I'll have to check on bobby who seems to have some serious issues with the newer Armagetron Advanced versions.

Phytotron: From my point of view, you qualify ;) 1) You found this topic 2) You posted 3) You're actively using Armagetron Ad under 10.2.8 4) You know where to complain about issues (Having critical position about newer features of the program (e.g. maps and other new stuff) is a plus because it add...

I think/feel that point 6 might cause problems. Drawing a line what kind of help is acceptable is difficult: example should we pay z-man's fuel/car so he loses less time driving? In case anyone has serious problems, we can still call on the community to help. I think we also missed ads ? Might be us...

X3D is from the same organisation as VRML, and is the direct successor of VRML (also supposed to fix it's short comings). I guess the only reason not to use X3D is, if our development effort is too high or the standard is not yet widely supported. But then I'd also adwise against vrml, because it sh...

@z-man: if you happen to see a way to remove the byte swapping in armagetronads network packets, that would really be neat... currently all strings in network traffic have swapped low and high bytes, which makes sniffed chat pretty difficult to read.... AFAIK: network traffic is big endian where pos...

before we start to use VRML we should really consider X3D which is the official next thing after VRML. Advantages of X3D over VRML: - Supports Animation and even Hierachical Animation - Supports Profiles (e.g. just basic Polygons or more advanced features) - Binary encoding standard for X3D Problems...
