Re: A faster development cycle

make arma development more agile!

some know advantages of releasing more frequently:
- you have a better "taste" of your features: you really know what they are only when you use them
- fast feedback
- more rewarding
- bad parts of the app won't stay in stable branch a long time

Re: Registration questions for the wiki

nux: why won't it stop the spambots?

questions:
- wh.at is the co lor of the icon of this wiki?
- h.ow ma.ny colors do the background of this wiki have?

also add a one day delay if you miss registration, that should stop most of the bots

I've set up a server for this, I will try to be around.
If there are enough servers, I think it's better to have mine as backup though

You didn't tell me, but I've heard about it.

Voodoo ported arma to iPhone (iirc) but it was un-usable from what I can remember, requiring too much resources.

Re: Android app around arma

Did the first part.
got a (more or less, less than more) working version, for android 4.1.1
You can try it at: https://github.com/K-Yo/arma-groom
it is slow, ugly, buggy and works only with latest android API, but still, it can display a server list, woohoo!

I plan to add features as I learn new stuff (alerts whe...

Client Port

As you could all have seen , I am not much on grid lately.
my school network blocks all accesses from all ports but 80 and 22 =P

2 questions:
1. is there a way I change the client port for arma? (so armagetorn uses 22 for example)
2. if not, what ports are used? is it UDP or TCP?

thanks =)

Re: Real life pictures of U

Orion,
If I did not post any picture of me on arma forums, it was a choice.
I ask you to respect it, and next time you wish to post any personnal information, ask the owner first.

Thank you.

Nota Bene: don't forget to remove that post as soon as you read mine.
