Re: Branch name adjustments

I would argue against overthinking too much about the significance of some of these terms. Blacklist for instance comes from a list of judges who killed Charles I (an English king) that was made by his successor Charles II - the names of the people on this "black list" were the people resp...

Re: Armagetron ON Steam (2019) with steam direct

Looking back at your first post, I downloaded the alpha build and not the staging build

I tried again with staging and there were no settings reset and the server list was the same. Really sorry!

Re: Armagetron ON Steam (2019) with steam direct

Just ran a few games in 8v8 fortress without any significant issues. Of note, updating the client resets everything (name, instant chats, the tutorial) - I assume this is intended only so far as it's not been removed from how downloading the new client runs. The text style of the server browser is a...

You may be in luck, there's a (mostly) functional CTWF clone up at the moment :)

Re: Old CTWF rotation script query

After a bit more work, I have greatly reduced the number of lines of code for the script I am using, as well as made it so the map_file and round_center_message data is retrieved from a .csv file named maplist.csv with the following columns: Round, Map, mapfile and message. I am still yet to figure ...

Re: Old CTWF rotation script query

Hi Nelg, I didn't realise you had so many resources available on your website, thanks for linking! Also as you found last night, the line if (($line -like '*Go (round 1 o*') -and ($line -notlike '*Go (rou* `*') -and ($line -notlike '*:* Go rou*')) was not fit for purpose. The intention is to read wh...

Re: Old CTWF rotation script query

Hi Kyle, glad to see you're still knocking about :) I have no idea why my post count is shrinking haha! I am aware there are newer ways to do this, such as your advice in this thread . Regardless, I thought it would be a fun little project to try my hand at. Turns out it wasn't too fun, but I've got...
