Re: TST 2010.01 - 64 Players, 2 Winners - January 17th

Just a quick explaination from myself: Thunderbolt and Lightfoot was actually me and distort, but because I was supposed to be busy till 9, I asked flex to cover for the first round. Looking at the lineup, I figured it'd be an easy match, as I didn't realise that Aaron & Justin (or whatever your...

Re: Ladle 29

I never understood this logic, If a country like England gets two teams, then either they should do the same thing as US (west and east coast or north and south,) or US shouldn't have to divide into regions either. Yes, US is a big country, but if that is your reasoning, then where do you put the l...

Re: Ladle 29

I didn't realize it'd been discussed before, I just figured it'd be fun and hasn't been done before.. But I appreciate the sarcasm! Why don't we do it?

Re: Ladle 29

On a slightly unrelated note, I think we should have one ladle where the teams are made up of nationalities rather than clans/teams, a bit like Team Poland did in the last ladle. If there's loads of players for one country (say England for example), we can make two Team England teams. If there's not...

Re: Ladle + TST?

Great idea PsYkO, your enthusiasm is encouraging haha in light of the recent 1 on 1 tourney, which was clearly a success, perhaps we should try and host this style competition in alternate months with each other 2 weeks after the ladle, so for example: Jan 1st Sunday: Ladle 3rd Sunday: 1 on 1 tourne...

Re: Ladle + TST?

Having just played another 'sumo war', it's become pretty clear that 4v4 is too many, and 3v3 is ideal. this brings an even greater range of teams which could be too many if popular. Basically, id really like it if sumo became part of the monthly rota as well as the ladle. Here are the options as I ...

Re: Ladle + TST?

Sorry for any confusion in my terrible explanation.. Yes, I am proposing a 4-per-team sumo competition, run through the wiki like the ladle, run on the third sunday of the month (or the sunday 2 weeks after the ladle) I think he's proposing a sumo tourney with more than 2 players per team. Maybe up ...
