Issues with amazon servers
I tried a linux server and I couldn't for the life of me log in to it, so I'm stuck with windows server for the forseeable future. I am, however, struggling to get my server to appear in the master list. I enabled talk_to_master, but I'm unsure as to why nothing appears to happen. UDP in and out is ...

Re: Arma on steam?
I think Raptr has added arma to their coffers, probably because I added it as one of my games. It's not exactly the same kind of principle as steam though, you can't get games from the client. It's more like a usage monitor. http://www.raptr.com

Re: Admin Abuse
While I sympathise with being unwilling to read a load of jargon that may or may not be difficult to understand for a new player, it's rather taken for granted that new players in any sort of game, armagtronad or not, will at least read up in some basic methods of play. Had I seen the wiki's I would...

Re: Tronformer
Just a thought: perhaps each instance of the noise could be shortened, and then the number of instances multiplied by, lets say, 2, and the pitch expanded each way? I think that might suit the transformation more.

Re: Restore default settings on full disk?
If arma opens temporary files (or copies of the user config files) when the app is running, that might present an issue? When you say out of space, do you mean literally 1kb left, or a few mb?

Re: Trouble Opening Armagetron!
Ah. To be on the safe side I would double check that too, I can't remember if it was aarec or another entity, but I got a permission denied error on uninstall. Running the uninstaller as an admin manually though, seems to do the trick...

Re: Trouble Opening Armagetron!
0.4 (I think, can't tell because there's no version specific key, it just seems like a generic one) hkey_local_machine\software\classes\aarec name is default, SZ classification? data just displays "armagetronad.recording" Slightly confusing seeing as apparently I don't have access to it......

Re: Trouble Opening Armagetron!
I'll have a look but tbh, I hate installing extra stuff on my PC. I don't dig all those "utility" programs like driver updaters, uninstallers and "pc boosters" (what does that even mean??). I tend to stick with AVG, MS office, Adobe Suite and Ccleaner, then a couple of games and ...

Re: Trouble Opening Armagetron!
Double check that removal thing, 'cos cCleaner (needless plug, I know) picks them up when I have uninstalled (yes, appdata entries too) arma from my missus' laptop. Windows is awkward though, I know.

Eheh, wow. Those headlights are awesome, too bad I can't get backtrack to run tethered. Is there a way to get the repo in windows? I'm pretty new to this sort of thing

Re: Trouble Opening Armagetron!
Does the installer add more than one registry key? I've noticed that there's more than one entry in my registry after cycling the installation, if only to move it to another drive.

I got one too:
While 0.4 is in alpha and 0.3 is almost unplayable on my PC (I have yet to look at it, probably just some configs) is there any way to incorporate a map into 0.2?

Observation:
I've just noticed: on a map with 12 axis or so, the axis indicator looks a lot like the headlights from the average Legacy lightcycle. Coincidence? This has probably no doubt popped up before (couldn't find it in the search mind you), but there are a heck of a lot of similarities between armagetron ...
