Re: [TT] Tron Times: Annual Tournament Viability
Would a New York location be good? I no longer host any servers in Texas, like I did. I just couldn't see the point of having a VPS to just host a single Sumo Server? yes plzzzzzzz, that is a great location. If you have one that you already have can you put sumo on it, I wouldnt have one for just o...

US Sumo Server [SPLIT]
please put up a good US sumo server that does not tell your location to everyone in the server when you join like oasis sumo doescompguygene wrote:My NY server is seriously under-utilized so if you would like me to setup a user account for you to host the server, just ask. I will post configs later.

Re: Clans (or whatever they're called) Help
I see a lot of players in-game with a {xxx} in front of their name with letters representing what I am guessing is a clan or guild or whatever you want to call it. I want to know where on the forums they recruit or if they're just built into the game (like Pokemon Go teams). Thanks for the help! ax...

Re: Sty+ct+ap server
It's just a whole bunch of different commands that I've mostly made. Some dealing with spawning zones while other deal with printing out information. I know it should work because it used to work on another server, but it wasn't a server that I set up. [0] Launching external command './scripts/scri...

Re: Sty+ct+ap server
Thanks for the responses, I uninstalled the normal version and then did make debug. This did indeed start the correct version of the server! I was now trying to get a script to work. Inside everytime.cfg I put the following: spawn_script script.php The script.php is in the scripts folder however at...

Re: Sty+ct+ap server
So I am not that good with Ubuntu but I needed to use linux in order to run a script on the server. So I use bzr for this link: https://code.launchpad.net/~armagetronad-ap/armagetronad/0.2.9-armagetronad-sty+ct+ap After that was done I went into the directory and ran ./bootstrap.sh and then initial...

Re: 0.4-armagetronad-work Rubber / Wall glitch
And you cannot reproduce this in older versions of 0.4, 0.3, or 0.2? Good thought, It actually can be reproduced while using 0.2.3.X but in my short experience while using the client, not nearly as easy. Hard to find a server hosted on something other than sty-ct-ap, but the server 'Ladle 106 CT'S ...

Re: 0.4-armagetronad-work Rubber / Wall glitch
There's a LAG_RUBBER setting or something like that you might wanna toy with. Couldn't watch your video at the moment, but I'm assuming that's what it would appear to be? CYCLE_PING_RUBBER Which is still a server side function that differs from server to server (most of the time is set to 3 though)...

0.4-armagetronad-work Rubber / Wall glitch
While playing sumo I have seen people box themselves and start to endlessly turn regardless of their rubber being 5/5, it was very persistent, so I just assumed it was a macro or some kind of bot. Although when I decided to download the latest version of 0.4-armagetronad-work and work on a project o...

Re: Robot.txt edited?
Pretty sure we have no intention of excluding google from indexing these forums. That would be counterproductive when we tell people to search the forums if you can't use a decent search engine to do it, wouldn't it? This problem still occurs, I am fairly sure the forums is already excluding google...

Re: Ladle 104
Can you build Virtualbox then run Arma in another OS? I would imagine it would be far too laggy to play that way. Depending on how dedicated he is, he could always burn a iso to a USB and play on a live bootable image after he installs Armagetron (on linux). Well, Arma still doesn't work for me so ...
