Re: Best or worst idea? Getting a Velotaxi/Rikshaw for private use
It really depends on your situation, but if you are looking for a more tradition EV, Tesla is way ahead of everyone else. I like my Model 3. but that's what 10-20 times the price?

Re: US Election 2016
I've got a feeling that if he doesn't get elected, we won't have a known outcome come the middle of January. I actually do have a lot of fear with Mail in voting. Your signature literally has to match the one on your drivers licence for it to be valid. For me that was one signed on one of those crap...

Re: Branch name adjustments
delinquent, I get exactly what you are trying to say, but it's not that simple. We may have an idea of who may think it is offensive, but it's not that simple. It really may not be offensive to the people we think at all. What we are saying there exist at least a person who thinks, black/white list ...

Re: Branch name adjustments
The origin of the words can always be debatable. When github announced this change months ago, my reaction, what really, why, in this context it doesn't mean that and I've never thought of it that way. But there are people who do feel that way. So changing the names make it more inclusive to all and...

Re: Armagetron ON Steam (2019) with steam direct
At least you can run steam, it crashes my machine just about every time.
Edit. for clarity here, It's the steam client that crashes, I can't even get far enough with it to install retro cycles before it crashes.

Re: Armagetron ON Steam (2019) with steam direct
I had a play around with v2sty and managed to fix the disappearing flags issue. The blink code had no additional checks to see if the flag still had an owner. I've also made "blinking" behave a lot more like the zonesv1 counterpart: instead of changing the alpha value of color, it changes...

Re: Armagetron ON Steam (2019) with steam direct
I know if zones v2 is something to be included in 0.4 there were still some off issues with the CTF hack that I worked on a while back, Something would cause issues when flags were picked up and dropped and lead to some random crashes. Do you mean the 0.4 client crashed when connected to a CTF serv...

Re: Armagetron ON Steam (2019) with steam direct
I restate my intention to get 0.4 out. I agree, What will it take to get 0.4 out? I think that would be a good step forward. At least it would still work with 0.2.[8/9] sty servers, where most of the advantages to sty are. And it has super useful tutorials. I have not said this before, but I'm not ...

Re: Old CTWF rotation script query
Those are super old, they evolved a lot since then. Hopefully in 2 months I'll be back, have CTWF back up and make the current script more public. With that said, the newer scripts use GNU/Screen and python instead of bash or PHP I don't know enough power shell to point out your issue though. How's ...

Re: The COVID-19 Crisis
This year was the first time I placed a payload in the rocket, Using the Falcon 9 model rocket kit, I placed a Hot wheels Tesla roasdster with starman in it. Recovered them both. I would like to see a picture of that! I ended up not taking any video's and they would have been poor quality anyway. I...

Re: The COVID-19 Crisis
Model rocket launches I used to love making those! It's another hobby I want to pick up again after retirement (if I live that long). Yep, I picked it back up a few years back, but I only do 4th of July launches. This year was the first time I placed a payload in the rocket, Using the Falcon 9 mode...

Re: What Size T-Shirt Do You Wear?
Do you like any of these? Your feedback will help. The more designs we have the better. Also, I'm working on a design with two cycles, but it looks like I'll have to redraw a bunch of stuff to make it work. Might take a while. Have you been watching too much NASA TV lately? #TheWormIsBack :) I like...
