Yes, i thought about that too. PrtSc-key is default for taking screenshots in gnome, so i changed it to something completely different. Still, same effect. This is most probably caused by my driver. Intel hasn't been too swift at releasing proper xorg drivers for this chipset, i'm still lacking a la...

Yes, it seems to happen in both, PNG_SCREENSHOT 1 and 0. I guess its a problem with the driver then? I did about 30 tests and there was one exception when it didn't happen.

Tested 0.2.8.3_beta1 on Ubuntu 8.10 - Everything works great apart from one little thing. Not sure if this is a bug in the game or somewhere else, but whenever i take a screenshot all the fonts in the console output and HUD components become "scrambled" (see image below). Its easily fixed ...

You're in single player mode.. and the bots aren't yet smart enough to stay inside the zone.
As long as you have to right map_file, zones should appear as more (human) players enter the game..

I immediately thought of a fractal of some kind. Having read what others thought, I'm now much more confused.

Lag is a myth, it's only in your head. No but seriously, on certain kinds of networks these kinds of things do happen. I recall a time when I had 100/100 Mbit and a university backbone. Ping appeared to be perfect at all times, but I would still get random unusual lag. And it wasn't MY computer for ...

Also, you'd have to use "\n" for line-breaks, and the whole message should be on the same line in your config.

Example: ROUND_CONSOLE_MESSAGE First line\nSecond line\nThird line etc...

:o Thanks for the feedback! I'm allowed to have my opinion aren't I...? And i'm not actually saying one shouldn't use the rubber to defeat one's opponent... But, the term "dig" widely evolved inside the DDL community, where digging has completely taken over the essence of the game. And I d...

Like, SERVER_NAME, SERVER_PORT, TALK_TO_MASTER 1 and so on. this wouldn't go in settings_custom.cfg anyway Hehe, I knew YOU would comment on that. Technically it doesn't make a difference. The server info settings would be loaded in either case. What epsy is suggesting, however, is that you're usua...

In armagetron, digging means to ride very close to a wall, making it very hard to get in between... To keep the game fun, you should under no circumstances "dig". If however, you really want to dig, I suggest you learn your rubber. Try looking at the rubber meter on bottom left of your scr...

To edit settings on your local server you may have to assign a key for the console. This would be in System Setup -> Misc Stuff -> Global Keyboard Configuration -> Console input. Then you would have to go into game and type the setting you want to change along with the value you want for it. For exa...

Your config seems to have mixed client side and server side settings, among other very confusing mistakes. 1.) The file should be called "settings_custom.cfg" 2.) WALLS_LENGTH 2 is almost non-existent and far too short. 3.) There's no such setting as SPEED_FACTOR 4.) BUG_RIP 1 allows playe...
