Re: Cannot connect master server // and cannot host dedicate

I'm guessing TALK_TO_MASTER isn't set to 1? It doesn't even appear to be attempting.

The console log would be a good start, if you could post that. Please use code tags.

Re: Need Help ! ASUS K53SD Mother

At the age of that machine you're probably better off just buying another laptop second hand. Even if you do find a replacement board, chances are it's used and has issues - 610m runs pretty warm. I just picked up an Elitebook for work for £130, they went for anything up to £2000 depending on confi...

Re: Authentication Issue

Note that your killing everyone by ID [configuration files] (probably) doesn't work in sty+ct - but sty+ct+ap has a KILL_ALL function EDIT: I sound like a walking advertisement now... In sty+ct I've always just used a script for it. Before using a script, you could do /admin kill 1, /admin ki...

Re: Cross Building (Protobuf)

Another likely point of failure would me a mismatch between your mingw version and the version the winlibs binaries were built with. The mismatching symbols the linker complains about look like templates two compilers don't agree on. The right compiler version is in the lib name, I can't remember w...

Re: Cross Building (Protobuf)

Are you absolutely certain ld isn't trying to link to linux .so files? I don't know, but I was assuming it ended up using both. I'm not sure that really makes sense thinking back on it, but I was thinking the last time I set this up I needed to copy a .so file somewhere to make it work, though I ca...

Cross Building (Protobuf)

I'm assuming my issue is with protobuf, but I can't seem to get it. I tried the package provided in Ubuntu 15.10, which I know has often failed. I went and grabbed from git, installed it to /usr and same failure. Again with /usr/local (default location) with the same failure once again. Below is my ...

It looks like the service is stopped, so can't see if there was anything noticeable from the client's side. What's wrong with it? I could potentially fix / host it for you if ya need.

If you try again it would likely work now. Since it was a timeout issue, it shouldn't still exist as we're using the database here.

I do with known links, but generally you expect that an external link will open in a new tab as it's become the norm. Middle clicking also bypasses some pop-up issues with certain sites as well.

Re: forum clickable links

I've requested this in the past, too. In updated sites, we're not forced away from the site we're navigating through just to view a link's content, but opinions here seem to be stuck in the past. At least that's my opinion. I got shut down with this request by almost everyone who commented if I reme...
