Re: The worst things that have ever been written
I don't think it's fair to say that that is the purpose of the bible. The bible itself doesn't tell you that you need to have that sort of relationship with it, and it is the Church who promote the book in such a light. I think there are other ways of approaching the texts (even with in the context ...

Re: The worst things that have ever been written
Whilst I totally disagree with the argument that you can only read biblical text in its original language I haven't made said argument, in case that was directed at me. I'd just say that translations should probably be better and offer more commentary. It wasn't >_> I think you're digging yourself ...

Re: The worst things that have ever been written
The reason for the poor language structures, as Word said, is because it's a translation from an ancient text, and most translations these days try and make their texts as exact as they can. I've studied biblical Hebrew and can read it to a reasonable level of competency. Whilst I totally disagree w...

If the commentary is good, it might even be better than being in the server itself (unless you're playing...)

Re: Get your war here
This idea has been mentioned before - we could have a structured tournament season, where rather than relying on one person to single-handedly organise an SBT, sumo tourneys and other tourneys are scheduled into a programme in advance (in the same way that ladle already is) So for example; February ...

Re: Get your war here
Yeah I know about the Spoon; I'm thinking of something a bit more official (such as insa's suggestion), where you sign up teams and play in the same way you do with ladle, TST, SBT etc. As I said, I can't even play... If someone wants to take the responsibility of sorting something though, I'm sure ...

Re: Get your war here
**** this shit.. ladle might be a big thing.. but isnt it better for like EVERYBODY to make 2 big tournaments so the skill level gets even higher and the noobs can reach the skill level even easier cause they have more wars... Other Sundays are currently left open for other tournaments such as sumo...

That is amazing! An oversized gorilla statue is something I do not have. The horse often looks a little lonely, maybe the gorilla could keep it company

Lastly, Psy, what do you think of Lucifer's tongue-lashing of me, or Slov calling us idiots and reducing everything we've ever posted to "bs"? It's not very nice :( But it's not any different to how you have spoken to me and others in this thread. But I have also spoken to people in less-...

Maybe you didn't understand... You can't moderate my post - i.e. change/delete it, if you're not willing to do the same for others
I'm not targeting or trying to make some point against the mods here - definitely not - but that is so inconsistent, c'mon!

Z:man: What is this dumb crap? What a silly post... You're really a piece of work - that's a laughably ridiculous claim, pure baloney. It's a cowardly way of dealing with this, you're either dense or stubborn, and I think you're full of shit You're filling this forum with your crap, which is frankly...
